Hey You Should Play Yo-Kai Watch.
It's an RPG for the 3DS where you befriend ghosts based on Japanese Folklore.
Back when I was super passionate about 3DS back in like College, I liked checking out stuff by Level-5 as pretty much every game they published to 3DS was unique in some way and had a cartoony charm to them.
Yo-Kai Watch is unique in that it uses a real-time battle system where you rotate your party on a wheel for instant party management. It really shakes up the monster catching rpg system in a time where the Pokemon games were struggling through Gen 6 and I think that's really cool.
You should play Tower of Heaven! a short, simple platformer with an interesting mechanic and some secrets :)

Play Hacknet :) It's a silly little hollywood-hacking game with some loose parallels to working a real computer system, I think it's sorta cute and deserves some attention.
Play Hide and Shriek!! It's a 1v1 competitive objective horror
Two people are up against each other, aiming to collect more orbs than their opponent, which are placed on a randomly teleporting pedestal to count the point
They can collect runes to unlock and cast spells, either to set traps, sabotage their opponent, or to give themselves an advantage
The map is relatively small, but large enough to make the game fun and fair, it consists of a long hallway with lockers, and four rooms with desks, shelves, cabinets, etc. for runes and orbs to hide in
The funny part of it all is that both players are invisible
You can still bump into your opponent, and when you know it's the perfect time to strike...
Hit spacebar to jumpscare the opponent! Jumpscaring the opponent 3 times in a row will automatically result in victory, but it also gives you bonus points for the final tally
Not enough people play it, and it's just so much fun to play with a friend

You should play Creepy Castle! it has some funny bugs and shit, but great story playthrough and good battle mechanics ~🥚

I played the heck out of this and it's DLC, it was a GREAT experience, and if you want more, play uplink!

I've liked to describe it as cozier FTL, though, it also has a lot in common with Slay the Spire and has a cute cast and fun dialog. The soundtrack is also really good, so I also recommend checking that out at least if you don't play it.

Crypt of the NecroDancer, I'm very normal about this video game :3
It's hard as hell but it's so fun. The developers are awesome (and also are the publishers for Cobalt Core!) and hired a group of fans that remade the game from the ground up to support online multiplayer and modding, turning that into an official DLC and engine update. They even managed to convince Nintendo (and other consoles) to allow approved modded content!! (Also they scored a crossover spin-off game, Cadence of Hyrule; Nintendo really likes Brace Yourself Games lol)
Great blend of rhythm and roguelike, with emphasis on skill rather than luck - there's still items and diverse levelgen but it's designed to be fair with only the baseline starting equipment.
Also it has hatsune miku in it
Also the music was made by DannyB who also did music for Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac
Also it has multiple entire soundtrack covers by people like FamilyJules, A_Rival, Chipzel, etc
Also I've made like 40 mods for it I am normal I am So Normal-
ouuuh I really do need to play Crypt of the Necrodancer at some point!! It looks coooool, and it feels like it's been around forever!
